Iran Visa for Foreign Nationals
Iran e-visa guidance for foreign nationals
Iran visa for foreign nationals
Foreign nationals (except those from visa-exempt countries) must submit their application through the official electronic visa portal of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (evisa.mfa.ir). Once the application has been reviewed, a reference number is issued, and the visa is collected at the chosen embassy or consulate or, where permitted and arranged in advance, at the airport. Please allow at least 14 working days for processing.
Visa exemptions, visa types and the permitted length of stay depend on your nationality. Requirements and regulations may change, and the final decision on every application rests with the Iranian authorities; Armoon Travel cannot guarantee that a visa will be issued. We can support you in submitting your application, preparing your documents and following up on your reference number, and our consultants will give you the up-to-date list of requirements.

Iran is an ancient land in Western Asia, lying between the Caspian Sea to the north and the Persian Gulf and Gulf of Oman to the south. Its civilisation, thousands of years old, has left a rich heritage of architecture, poetry, carpets, Persian gardens and handicrafts. The country's natural diversity, from the Alborz and Zagros mountains to its deserts, northern forests and southern islands, means you can experience several climates in a single trip.
Foreign visitors usually get to know Iran through historic cities such as Isfahan, Shiraz and Yazd, from Naqsh-e Jahan Square and its tiled mosques to the magnificent ruins of Persepolis and the mud-brick lanes of Yazd. The hospitality of the people, Persian cuisine and traditional bazaars are among the most memorable parts of the journey. Kish Island, on the shores of the Persian Gulf, is also a good destination for relaxation and sea activities.
